Looking closer
at living systems.
I’m John Kyle Torrejos, a molecular biology researcher exploring how cells behave through single-cell imaging, transcriptomics, and computation.
Biology, computation, and the patterns between them.
I investigate cellular mechanisms by manipulating signaling molecules, using high-throughput imaging, and making sense of large biological datasets.
My work spans cancer cell lines, insect and plant transcriptomes, and reproducible bioinformatics pipelines. I’m most at home where careful wet-lab work meets computational thinking.
